Q. I get an ERROR; This User is already connected. What do I need to do?

A. If you receive this error you will need to contact TFS-ICAP to have the connection reset. This error normally occurs if the User has not logged off correctly at the end of the previous session. In order to log off correctly left click on 'Start' (bottom left of screen) then left click on 'Log Off Username'. This will terminate your connection to the database in an orderly fashion and will prevent the Error from occurring

Q. How many currency pair tiles can I have open at once?

A. The maximum number of tiles that can be open at one time is 10.

TIP! To launch multiple currency pair tiles, set the first tile to the desired size then launch the other tiles. The subsequent tiles will open at the same size as the initial tile.

Q. How do I change the amount of my Bid/Offer without losing my place in the queue?

A. Without referring the price overtype the new amount. Then press the F8 key to submit the bid or F9 to submit the new offer with the amended amount. The price will remain in the same position in the queue. (see below)

As shown (fig 1) the User is part of the 9.5 offer in the 1W EUR/USD (black price indicates stack of prices of which your intitution is a part.)

To see where your price is in the stack, right click anywhere in the appropriate tenor. This will display the ‘depth of market’ drop down. Prices and amounts are shown from the top down.

(Fig 2) Shows Your 9.5 offer 1^st in the queue for 20euros.

Without referring the price overtype the new amount. (fig 3)

Press the F9 key to submit the offer (or F8 to submit the new offer) with the amended amount. (fig 4)

Again, to see where your price is in the stack, right click anywhere in the appropriate tenor. This will display the ‘depth of market’ drop down. Prices and amounts are shown from the top down.

(Fig 5) Now shows your 9.5 offer 1^st in the queue for 50euros.

Q. I get an Authorization Violation, when trying to log in to the Volbroker System via the Internet. What does this mean?

A. If you receive this error it means that you are trying to access the Volbroker platform from a PC that is outside the authorised IP range.

Q. How do I save my screen layout?

A. Once you have set up your screen layout left click on 'Start' (bottom left of screen) then click on 'User' then click on 'Save Layout'. This will save your screen layout between sessions.

A. Follow the steps below to apply 'Spot Out' limits.

Left click on options and select ‘Adjust Settings’

This will launch the ‘Settings’ dialog box.

Enter the ‘Lower and Upper Spot Out’ limits. Prices will be automatically ‘reffed’ if spot limits are breached.

Click on ‘Ok’ to submit levels

(nb these limits will only be applied to prices submitted after the settings are entered) i.e. prices already live will not be affected.
